GRAFTON: Cucumbers, carrots, cauliflower - what’s on your shopping list when you go to the Grafton Farmers Market this Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM? – how about CALENDARS!

The Grafton Historical Society is pleased to be invited to have an information booth at the Thursday, September 22nd Grafton Farmers Market on the historic Grafton Common. Representatives of the historical society will be available to answer your questions about Grafton history and show some of the society's photo collection of the Grafton Common. Also making its debut will be the new 2012 Grafton History Calendar. Just like the locally produced fruits and vegetables at the Farmers Market, we promise the Grafton History Calendar is also locally produced and as fresh as fresh can be. The 2012 Calendar features thirteen distinctive photos of Grafton from the Historical Society’s digital photo collection. Also, tickets for the raffle of the replica wall hanging of the 275th anniversary quilt will be available. Stop by the Historical Society booth during the Farmers Market hours between 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM and look over “what we’ve produced.”

The Grafton Historical Society is a private, non-profit 501c3 organization that collects preserves and interprets all things related to the history of Grafton, Massachusetts. The office and museum are located in the lower level of the Grafton Town House. The Historical Society is managed by a twelve member volunteer board of directors, along with a core of dedicated volunteers. Educational programs are held September through May. Museum hours are every Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM except holidays.
