GRAFTON: The Grafton Historical Society will hold a museum guide orientation class on Tuesday evening, October 25th starting at 7:00 PM. The class will be held at the Historical Society museum at One Grafton Common. Museum guides, also referred to as volunteer docents, lead educational tours through the exhibits and artifacts at the museum.

Museum docents enjoy working with people of diverse interests, backgrounds, and ages. They are trained to be able to conduct tours with flexibility, and a willingness to accept new challenges. Individuals are especially encouraged to apply who have classroom teaching or other educational experience. A prior knowledge of Grafton history is helpful but not required. For additional information about the museum guide training class and the Historical Society museum, please contact the Historical Society at 508-839-0000, and visit us at www.graftonhistoricalsociety.org and www.facebook.com/graftonhistory
